Fyre-Tec offers three types of reliable and cost-effective wired glass glazing materials, factory glazed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications for UL classified protective openings IAW NFPA 80.

Tested in a wide range of glazing systems and applications all wired glass provided by Fyre-Tec is listed with Underwriters Laboratories in the U.S. and Canada for use in sidelites, windows and doors.

Fyre-Tec wired glasses are available in three configurations: Diamond Clear (Misco), Georgian Clear (Baroque or square pattern) and Textured (Obscure). With the use of approved spacers, these products may be combined with a variety of commonly available float glasses to make up insulated glass units that are fire rated. These glazing products are also available with a safety film applied to the interior surface which will meet the requirements of CPSC 16CFR1201 (Cat I and II)

As an alternative to the standard wire glass commonly supplied for rated windows the newer clear ceramics offer unobstructed viewing, eliminating the more industrial look of wired glass. With the use of approved spacers, these products may be combined with a variety of commonly available float glasses to make up insulated glass units that are fire rated. These glazing products are also available with a safety film applied to the interior surface which will meet the requirements of CPSC 16CFR1201 (Cat I and II)

• Unpolished surface is clear with a slight surface waviness
• UL rated at 45- or 60- minutes when installed in Fyre-Tec frames with a

• Lites are individually permanently marked with UL listing and indication
  of the required hose steam test
• May be combined with other glazing products to create Insulated
  Glass Units
• Exhibits a slight amber coloration generally not perceptible
  once installed.
• Standard FireLite is not safety impact rated

Premium FireLite®
• 3/16" Thickness Glass Ceramic
• Clear and Wireless
• Polished surface provides optimal clarity
